Hi! I am Lynnette Carter and I am the Executive Director of Living Hope Women’s Centers.

I am so thankful for God’s call to serve His people and His cause in such a powerful, life-affirming ministry! I feel that God has uniquely prepared me for this position. I have owned and operated an insurance agency, served as the Executive Director for CASA in New Mexico, and worked extensively with youth both as a foster parent and youth leader.

My life was not all a success story though….I had a very difficult childhood. I was physically and sexually abused by a family member for many years. I have experienced unplanned pregnancy, abortion, teen motherhood, and rape. I have been to the bottom emotionally and spiritually.

The Lord has helped me completely heal from the past. Things I did and things I had done to me no longer grip me with pain. Isaiah 54:4 says “Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace, you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.” I know from experience how true this verse is.
