Hope House Maternity Home
Be a missionary to Living Hope Women's Center. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our ministry. We have many opportunities available at all three of our clinics and our resale boutique. Listed below are opportunities to serve in this incredible ministry. In order to volunteer, you must be able to sign our statement of faith, be pro-life and able to give at least 4 hours a week. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please select one of the opportunities listed below, fill out our online form and indicate how you would like to help.
A work like this thrives with volunteers. There are valuable ways to help at all three of our centers, as well as our maternity home and resale boutique. Use the small arrows at left to scroll down through the list of volunteer needs/positions at our various locations.
SHOW LOW CLINIC
Living Hope Women's Center Clinic - 1000 E. Huning, Show Low (928) 537-9032
• Parenting Instructor - We will train you to teach parenting classes one-on-one with our clients. Requirements are: Must be or have been a parent and must give one day a week Mon thru Thursday. You may volunteer seasonally (Summer or Winter) or year round.
• Client Advocate - We will train you to take a woman thru life-affirming options when she has a positive pregnancy test. You will also talk to single women about abstinence and educate them on STDs. Requirements are: Must give one day a week Mon thru Thursday. You may volunteer seasonally (Summer or Winter) or year round.
• Biblical Counselor - We will train you how to counsel women through their difficult, shamebound life issues. Requirements are, must give at least one day week, Monday thru Thursday. Must have disciplined Bible study habits and must have taken our training.
• Fatherhood Instructor - We will train you to meet with men and teach them to be men, husbands and fathers of integrity, honor and character. Requirements are: must give one evening a week to lead a group. We use the Men's Fraternity curriculum.
• Mommy Store Tender - Come in and sort donated clothes, make cute up-to-date outfits and keep the mommy store clean and decorated. Requirements are: must be able to give one day a week (Mon thru Thursday).
• Clerical Help - Help us with our fundraising campaigns, help with mail-outs, etc.
• Gift in Kind Coordinator - Pick up gift-in-kind shipments from Home Depot and take them to our Storage Unit in Lakeside. Keep the unit organized and keep an inventory of the items in the unit. Requirements are: must give Friday morning every week to pick up the shipments, need a pick up truck to transport the items.
• Housekeeping - come in 4 hours a week to sweep and mop floors, clean bathrooms and dust the clinic.
• Yard Maintenance - Keep the landscape of the clinic clean of weeds and leaves and keep it attractive. Requirements are: must give one day a month to manage the yard maintenance.
• Skilled - If you have special skills, such as plumbing, constructions, roofer, electrical, etc, we are always in need of your help. If you are willing to donate time and skills on a as needed basis, we will keep you on our list to call on when a need arises.
Hopeful HOPEFUL TREASURES RESALE BOUTIQUE
580 E. Deuce of Clubs, Show Low (Next to Sonic Restaurant) (928) 537-8161
• Clothes sorter - We will train you to sort through donated clothes that will be sold in the boutique. Requirements are: give one day a week (Monday thru Saturday).
• Housekeeping - Come in and clean floors and bathroom and dust the boutique. Requirements are: give one morning a week (Monday thru Saturday).
• Housewares clerk - Come in a clean and test houseware items (vacuum cleaners, appliances, etc) that will be sold in the boutique. Requirements are: give one day a week (Monday thru Saturday).
• Cash register clerk - Be responsible for ringing up purchases. Requirements are: give one day a week (Monday thru Saturday), must be able to accurately ring up purchases and count money.
• Skilled - If you have special skills, such as plumbing, constructions, roofer, electrical, etc, we are always in need of your help. If you are willing to donate time and skills on a as needed basis, we will keep you on our list to call on when a need arises.
SPRINGERVILLE CLINIC
